I'm having an identity crisis.

I am a purebred Labrador. I have AKC registration and the papers to prove it. Okay, so I ate the papers, but She salvaged what she could and you can still see my champion lineage. At least I think they were champions. Aren't champion dogs like gifted kids...everybody's got one?

Anyhow, I don't really look like a typical Labrador. I have been blessed with a dense coat of soft, white fur. Yes, very white, thank you very much. I have a ladylike narrow snout (or hog.) I have a tail which curls up over my backside. Very unLabrador-like. I have a small frame and a svelt build. Again, rather unlike those stocky, short-legged "English" Labradors. I am a beautiful specimen. But, a specimen of what? I'm beginning to wonder.

She saw a photo of an Akbash. Could it be that somewhere in my lineage, one of my ancestors strayed and bred outside my kind? Could I be an Akbash-Labrador, sort of like He is a Swedish-American?

A little about me....

I am a beautiful white labrador. I love white. The whiter the better. Hence, the all-white template I've chosen for my new blog. You could say I am a whte supremsist {sic} which has absolutely nothing to do with the white race, only my white fur.

I talk (and talk....and talk...) I have a lot to say. Mostly about nothing of any significance.

I was born is Missoura. I tell them that my dad and I still talk on Father's Day but I really never even knew my father (high pitched crying voice). Besides, he'd be about 17 years old now and is probably long dead.

I have a fambly (you'll notice I occasionally mispronounce words) which constists of the following pack:

Him (my Alpha, makes me nervous just to look at Him. I have no respect for him, I only fear Him. I don't really like Him.)

Her (my packmate, LOVE her! Follow her around like a shadow. When He calls me over, I go straight to Her. Sort of like I want Her to save me from Him.)

The Child (my firstborn - well their firstborn but I adopted him - I don't have much to say about The Child. He ignores me and I ignore him-It's just the way it is.)

The Honey Child (My greatest admirer. The Honey LOVES me. I tolerate the attention but sometimes find it a bit too much now that I'm in my twilight years. The Honey is responsible for the title of my blog, Tails from "mine hog". The Honey has nicknamed my snout as my hog. At 6, he still pronounces "my" as "mine".)

I have an extensive work history.

I was the owner of a now-defunct courier service. I would take the pick-up information over the phone, get tired, lay down and take a nap. I never actually picked things up.

I say I do graphic design work for Her old client but, truthfully, I don't really.

I used to have an NPR sports talk show but I've been taken off the air by the FCC for using racial slurs and swears on air. Basically, I watched the tv broadcast and relayed what I saw. I would say things like. "that guy just..." I am not sure I had any listeners anyway. I did a pre-recorded spot which went something like this...
"This show brought to you by and by and listeners like you." The problem was, there were never any sponsors so the blanks were just filled with dead air.

I love to sing. I sing quite well and He is jealous of my ability. I leave out all unnecessary lyrics and, honestly, I may have some pitch problems.
